At LinuxWorld, Nokia announced a novel PDA-ish device to ship in the
fall, targeted at the "internet tablet" market:

The specs are interesting: 3x5.5x0.7 inches, about 8 ounce weight, but
they include a 800x480 screen on it, which as far as I can tell works
out to about 150-200 dpi! Widescreen, so that should really do a good
job on web pages. Bluetooth and WiFi, but no hard drive or cellular
connection (though of course you can leech off a Bluetooth phone if you
have one). The batteries are a bit modest, supposedly giving 3 hours
of WiFi-enabled web browsing but an unknown about of standalone use.
Besides the screen, the best part is that it's Linux-based and has an
apparently open development environment, so it should hit the ground
running with a good software library. Other sources on the Slashdot
discussion claim a price point of around $350.
